Social Security Fairness Act

The recent Social Security Fairness Act was signed into law on January 5th.  If you work for an employer or are married to someone who works for an employer that does not pay into social security, you are going to want to listen to this podcast in its entirety.  If you are currently receiving a pension and were told you will not get any of your social security due to your government pension, you will want to listen to this in its entirety.  If you and your spouse are both over age 62 and your spouse is collecting social security and you are not receiving a social security spousal benefit, you will want to listen to this in its entirety.
